In the winter, sunrises over Canary Wharf are a real treat, and in summer, sunlight pours through the floor-to-ceiling windows in each room. My husband and I love walking into London Bridge, the Southbank and Maltby Street Market or a bus into Soho or Covent Garden. We have the best of both worlds - a lovely residential area with plenty happening and that doesn't feel sleepy, as well as the busyness of central London on our doorstep in under 20 minutes. Burgess Park is great for a run but there are plenty of smaller parks under five minutes' walk away, which are great for a lunchtime stroll while working from home.
