"One of the largest private houses built in London was Crosby Hall - frequented by amongst others, Sir Thomas More and Sir Walter Raleigh. It was originally sited in the Royal Mile, however in 1910 it was moved brick by brick to Cheyne Walk in Chelsea after the Bank of India wanted to use the original site for its offices."

Battersea Square is a delightful place for a spot of brunch, lunch or dinner, particularly when the sun is shining and you can sit outside!
