I love Deptford because it is near to Greenwich and not far from Surrey Quays, and affordable unlike the 2 places mentioned.

It feels safe, people have lived here for years so it's a nice community! With local businesses and nice spots to walk to, with great green areas.

Deptford is an area on the south bank of the River Thames in south-east London. It is named after a ford of the River Ravensbourne, and from the mid 16th century to the late 19th was home to Deptford Dockyard, the first of the Royal Dockyards. There are several green spaces in the area, the largest being Brookmill Park, Deptford Park, Ferranti Park, Pepys Park and Sayes Court Park.
