Skateboarding through Victoria Park is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Possibly heading to Broadway Market after to find coffee and more than likely after a few skateboard tricks, a pharmacy.

Noodle Street

Noodle Street

A cracking little Chinese restaurant on a random street, tucked away amongst a number of residential blocks. Great food and it's always full. Good prices too and if you can't be bothered to leave the house, they deliver!

Chrisp Street Market

Chrisp Street Market

Poplar's vibrant pedestrianised market and one of a few places in London where you can buy a baguette and then a mop in under a minute!

Swing Patrol Victoria Park

Swing Patrol Victoria Park

I love the beginner swing dance classes at The Royal Inn on the Park every Tuesday. The classes are fun, the teachers and students are friendly and the dancing is great! A great way to meet new people, get some exercise and, of course, learn to dance.

Victoria Park Market

Victoria Park Market

Open every Sunday, you can enjoy a Sunday walk in the park and have a bite to eat and a pint in the middle of it! Great day out with family or friends on a nice and sunny day.

What locals say about Mile End

  1. E3 is so friendly as when we first moved in, the neighbourhood welcomed us in and we settled in so easily it was like we never even moved. Plus you would never see such great community spirit. and it is a great place for kids to live as it is right to Victoria park. Also it is next to Roman road market for all you shopping lovers.

  2. Vibrant and multicultural, Mile End is buzzing and full of hidden gems down every street
