I love the vibrancy of Islington - the streets are full of restaurants from different cultures. There's also green space in central London. Plenty to see and do here. Plus of course there's Arsenal FC!

Islington is a great balance of lively night-life and lovely places to chill out. It's a foodie's paradise with virtually every cuisine covered and a variety of settings from very formal to relaxed to cheap and cheerful. There's even great cinemas, theatre and music venues and unique and chain shops. The convenience factor's pretty good too with decent sized supermarkets, bus, tube and train transport and an easy (often walkable) commute to Central London

The local council works hard to clean up and empty our bins

Kings Cross is so well connected and, even by foot, you can get anywhere quickly. There are new things opening all the time and we're really near Shoreditch & Camden for great night life.

North London has become one of my favourites places in London, mainly due to the many things there are to do, food, entertainment, socialising. I've made more friends living here that I have anywhere else, love that! I love that everything is within reach and a few minutes walk to exciting parts of east London, Shoreditch and hackney for instance. It has a quiet aspect considering its quite central, so if you love the city but value some peace swell, Islington is a five star for that! It's a lovely, friendly environment for children and families in general :)

Fantastic restaurants and great transport links

Caledonian Road is in every sense a hundred countries in a single street. From Vietnamese to Ethiopian, Indian to Polish, Italian to Caribbean, there is no end to the cafes, shops and restaurants in this mile long country hopping adventure. A true melting- meeting pot of cultures, it's what London prides itself in.

Canonbury has lovely character, lots of established trees and well maintained houses and streets. Feels very safe and secure, and lots of cute pubs around that creates cosy and fun atmosphere. I'm here on a temporary visa and feel Canonbury definitely gives off the true London experience you come for. Also transport links are amazing, overground is so relaxing and chilled and Victoria line is brilliant.

Fantastic area, great bars and restaurants for socialising, parks for jogging, and shops, it's like being in a village in London.
