"During the Peasants' Revolt of 1381, the Kentish rebels met with royal government representatives on Blackheath and continued into London, killing government officials, attacking gaols and setting fire to buildings in the City. Eventually the rebels were forced out of London, but continued to cause trouble in other parts of the South West."

Sit back and take in the sites from south east London's modern penthouses....

What locals say about SE3

  1. In the Royal Borough of Greenwich, a great village with easy rail access to London via rail. Great shops, cafes plus a lively market across the heath in Greenwich. Live music & family activities at Blackheath Halls. It's great whatever age or stage you are at in life! A little green oasis in the midst of S/E

  2. The numerous outstanding private and state primary schools.

  3. For breakfast, I often go to The Green Cafe in Greenwich which is friendly and popular with the locals. For something a little more upmarket it's got to be Chapters in Blackheath. There are also some incredible gastro-pubs in the area. My favourites are The Vanbrugh and the recently refurbished The Pilot.

  4. Kidbrooke Village is nearing completion and is providing Blackheath, Kidbrooke and the surrounding neighbourhoods with a great opportunity for growth and regeneration.
