We've seen many beautiful homes in the years that we've been selling and letting properties, but these are some of our favourite from the past 10 years. We think you'll be equally impressed, too.
A one-of-a-kind Huf Haus
This Huf Haus overlooking Richmond Park is one of only a few homes of this kind in the UK. Each Huf Haus is designed and built in Germany and constructed to the customer's specification – which includes underfloor heating and a beautiful open-plan reception area in this Kingston home. There's also an outdoor pool and a summer house with a sauna.
An exclusive Essex setting
Located just outside the village of Theydon Bois, we were immediately impressed by this beautiful six bedroom house because of its private three and a half acre setting. It's the perfect space for a family looking for some peace and quiet, as well as luxurious living space, which includes an indoor pool, gym, games room and a cinema room.
Inspirational interiors in west London
One of the best property transformations we've seen in a long time, this house in Ealing is truly breathtaking. Renovated by architect Chris Cooke, the project took 19 months to complete and was shortlisted as a finalist in three categories in the Sunday Times British Home Awards. Here's a more in-depth review of this beautiful property.
Period property transformation
Interior designed by Armani, this handsome period home was bought through us and totally renovated before being put back on the lettings market in 2014 for £15,000 a week. Arranged over four storeys, there's a stunning indoor pool and a gym and the property also has an exclusive location between Harrods and Hyde Park.
Church conversion with a difference
Set opposite Victoria Park, this stylish property was once a church hall until it was transformed into a striking family home. Arranged over 6,400 sq ft., there are six bedrooms, each with a dressing room and en suite, a cinema room and a terrace, which can be accessed from bi-folding doors in the expansive open-plan kitchen.
A home fit for Grand Designs
Featured on Channel 4's Grand Designs, this converted Venetian-style water tower is one of the capital's most unique properties. Set across nine storeys, each floor has been designed to maximise the 360 degree view, which can also be taken in from the west-facing terrace. There's an eye-catching mix of period and contemporary architecture and the property comes with a lift, integral garage and gym.
An ultra-modern renovation
This outstanding home in Kingston Vale is surrounded by trees, which adds to the private, suburban feel. It was bought through Foxtons and then totally transformed, before being put back on the market for nearly three times the price. Glass walls, ultra-modern design and a triple-height entrance hall create impressive living space that's perfect for a family.
Architect designed 'Rainbow House'
One of the most unusual homes we've seen over the past 10 years - or perhaps ever - this striking 'secret' house on Portobello Road was designed by Ab Rogers. Bold colours, floor art and living artworks, including a slide from the bedroom to the kitchen and a rotating bed, make this a one-of-a-kind home fit for London's artistic residents.
