Lovely community spirit, small village feel in the big city!

Green Street is the buzzing multicultural heart of Forest Gate. Great fun to live here, with excellent transport links. I have an apartment with my own garden at an affordable price. Love it!

I live in the Central Park area of Upton Park, one of the last affordable places left in London, but I feel not for long! Tree lined streets with Victorian houses and lots of local parks all within a stones throw from the city. I'm really loving living here. To be able to afford a house with a garden (which is never heard of in London) I think this is one of London best kept secrets! And with the West Ham development on the horizon bringing new restaurants parks and shops this area will just get better!

A great place to live. Affordable Victorian properties and Wanstead Flats on your doorstep. Some decent coffee shops opening on Woodgrange Road. Definitely an area on the up!

Reasonably priced housing in a great location only 13 minutes by train from Liverpool Street. The green spaces of Wanstead Flats are great for running and walking and Stratford for shopping, cinema, restaurants etc. is only a 15 minute walk. The high street is improving slowly and with Crossrail on the way, it can only get better.
