Did you know?
"23 and 24 Leinster Gardens are not what they seem - a false facade blends in with the neighbouring properties and hides the railway tracks behind. This outside section allowed fumes to escape from the tunnels at a time when the trains were steam powered."

I love the walking to the market. Every time I come back with a small treasure.

Notting Hill Gate is a wonderful living location. It is peaceful, safe and plenty to do! Portobello Road is just in walking distance, offering plenty of small boutique shops and bar/restaurants that you can't find on the typical high streets. Hyde Park is just off the main street which will always be your weekend relaxation hotspot (if you cant think of anywhere else to go on top of your head)! Its connectivity to central London locations is unbeatable as it is served by 3 tube lines (Central, circle, district) and plenty of bus options to Westfield, south Kensington, Victoria, kings cross and more.

Notting Hill Gate is one of the main thoroughfares of Notting Hill, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Historically the street was a location for toll gates, from which it derives its modern name. At Ossington Street / Kensington Palace Gardens, the Bayswater Road becomes Notting Hill Gate, continuing westward until it becomes Holland Park Avenue, just before it reaches Ladbroke Grove. Notting Hill Gate is distinct from Notting Hill, although the two are often confused. Notting Hill Gate is home to a variety of stores, restaurants, cafés and estate agents as well as more specialist stores which include rare records and antiques, as well as two historic cinemas as well as also several bars and clubs. Notting Hill Gate is the site of Notting Hill Gate tube station which is on the Central, District and Circle lines. This area is often packed with tourists heading to the nearby Portobello Road market.
