I love The Crown pub next to Marble Hill Park for a Sunday Roast.

It may be small but St Margarets rocks. Great cafes and independent shops - and within walking distance of Richmond.

St Margarets has a pretty village feel within walking distance of Richmond and the River Thames. There is a strong community with street parties and fairs and lots of great cafes and restaurants. Marble Hill Park is a beautiful park right on the banks of the river Thames and next to the foot ferry which can take you over to Ham House and Petersham.

St. Margarets is a suburb in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, about 9 miles west-southwest of central London. It is bounded by the River Thames to the east and the River Crane to the west and north; the northern limit, less well defined, has changed with local government boundary changes. St Margarets does not pass any further south than Richmond Road, Twickenham. There are some tree-lined residential roads and a range of shops and caf?s. Twickenham Studios are in the middle of the area. Between St Margarets Road and the railway line (to the east of the 'village') is a residential estate, 'Twickenham Park'. The area closer to Richmond Bridge is known by its inhabitants as East Twickenham and is not generally regarded as part of St Margarets. St Margarets Fair is held each July the public space, Moormead Park by the River Crane.
