Lovely community feel and lots of older settled families and also lots of young professionals couples and families moving in. Tooting has long been the hidden gem in London.

Young professionals and families moving in. New bars and restaurants opening, turning Tooting into an increasingly trendy place.

I like living in Tooting because of Tooting Bec Common and the leafy oak trees, and above all else the quiet.

Tooting is a district in south London, England, located in the London Borough of Wandsworth. It is situated 5 miles (8 km) south south-west of Charing Cross. A large open area, popularly known as the Tooting Commons, lies at the northern end of Tooting. Historically this was two separate open spaces: Tooting Graveney Common nearer to Tooting, and Tooting Bec Common towards Streatham. The commons are home to Tooting Bec Lido, which is 90 metres long and 30 metres wide making it one of the largest freshwater open air pool in the UK.
