Like having the countryside on your doorstep, it is a great place for a bike ride or a dog walk.

Although not the biggest park around, Kelsey Park is a peaceful, leafy spot with a large pond and a cafe. A great place to bring the kids, where they can run around the playground.

Serving the best food from the motherland, Ghana! The jollof rice served with domedo (seasoned and spiced pork) is to die for... It reminds me of mummy's cooking!

Really good selection of beers/ales and some good wine... Chicken burger is great, too.

Lovely little Italian restaurant with wood fire cooked pizzas! Also accept Tastecards in the week, which is a great bargain!

Coppers is a beautiful restaurant in an old police station. The food here is lovely and the afternoon tea with prosecco is a real treat!

If you're looking for a tasty white hot chocolate whilst you get lost in a good book, a £5 English breakfast to cure your ills from the night before, a place to take the kids whilst you catch up with friends and loved ones, or a great daytime into nighttime date location, then Deli Nene is the place to go.

A charming and homely pub with a good vibe. There are different bar areas each with its own character. Good selection of keg and cask ales and a open kitchen serving good, reasonably priced food. The staff are very friendly and the service good. It has a quiz night on Mondays, compered by a charming and entertaining quiz master.
