It's diverse and vibrant. A great place to live. Walthamstow is the place for all people, for families and professionals wishing to be part of a close community.

Walthamstow is a friendly, diverse place with everything a young family needs - good parks, playgrounds, loads of groups and activities - as well as independent coffee shops and businesses. It has a genuine community spirit, and is an easy place to call home. Check out the homegrown art trail, or the annual Garden Party in Lloyd Park.

Lloyds Park is definately the best part of Walthamstow. A stones throw from Lloyds Park and the award-winning William Morris Museum. It's a great place to visit with family or friends. The play area is suitable for all ages and the new cafe is wonderful. Only a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of the market. Lots of lovely cafes and shops for all ages. The new cinema and food outlets have made Walthamstow even more welcoming to surrounding areas.

Walthamstow is close to central London, the buses take me anywhere and I have the choice of 3 train services: Overground Barking to Gospel oak; underground Walthamstow to Brixton and St James Street to Liverpool St.

Living in Walthamstow is very exciting because it's not expensive but close to the centre of the capital.

A charming northeast London town with a warm community spirit, Walthamstow is ideal for young professionals and families. 6.4 miles (10.3 km) north-east of Charing Cross, the town is bordered by Chingford, Woodford, Leyton, Leytonstone, Tottenham and the River Lea Valley. Walthamstow has very good transport links and a variety of amenities. You’ll find the usual shops and chains, as well as the 17&Central shopping centre and the Walthamstow Market, Europe’s longest outdoor market. There’s no shortage of culture and entertainment, green spaces and Ofsted-ranked good or outstanding schools.
