The village is alive with such a variety of restaurants, pubs and bars. And there's lots happening when the tennis is on too. It's also close to Wimbledon Common, with a lake where you can feed the birds.

Easy to get to everything in the city centre but still with a leafy feel.

It has got lots of great outdoor spaces and parks, as well as the River Wandle. Whenever I walk alongside it I feel like I'm in the countryside and provides a little bit of piece in the bustling life of London... Colliers Wood is also very close to Wimbledon with lots of amazing bars, restaurants and shops, however I have noticed a couple of new cafes and pubs opening in Colliers Wood too - seems that it has started to become an up and coming area.

I was invited to the Picnic in South Park Gardens last Sunday. I was very much surprised how wordefull the park is, as well as, the lovely community spirit there. Wish I could afford to live there. Wonderfull little place!

We like living in Copse Hill because it does not feel like you live in London. There are mostly detached houses on the road. It is very green with lots of trees and near Wimbledon Common, the Golf course and it has a good tennis club, pub and riding stables on the doorstep. Yet it is possible to walk to Wimbledon village with it boutiques, and restaurants and a short ride on the bus down to the main part of Wimbledon with its shopping centre, cinema, restaurants and the good transport links there. Copse Hill has good schools within walking distance such as Kings, the Rowans, Squirrels, St Mathews C of E, Wimbledon College and the Ersuline and Wimbledon High and The Study very nearby. Having a green and spacious feel and yet having the convenience of London it has the best of both worlds. I wanted to live here for a few years before the right property came along and we love it here.

Wimbledon Common is a large open space in Wimbledon south-west London, totalling 460 hectares (1,100 acres).[1] There are three named areas: Wimbledon Common, Putney Heath, and Putney Lower Common which together are managed under the name Wimbledon and Putney Commons. Putney Lower Common is separated from the rest of the Common by about 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometres) of built-up area of southwest Putney.

Gosh..I love living in Wimbledon! It is a well kept secret! Village, South Park Gardens, Cannizaro Park, common, richmond park on door step, great transport links, lovely restaurants & pubs, windmill, parkside and no need to mention the TENNIS! Will never move out from here...

South Park Gardens is definitely the best part of Wimbledon outside the village. There are 2 grade II listed parks in Wimbledon, Cannizaro and South Park Gardens and you have a real sense of pride in the South Park Gardens community and can really feel that people genuinely love living here. Please come and see for yourself, its a very special place indeed!

Absolutely love living here. It's a great secret "Gem" where community spirit, open green space and friendly neighboorhood blends in together. It's also so convenient to the town, village and transport links. I will live here until the last day of my life. Love South Park Gardens!

We have been living in Colliers Wood for almost 3 years now and really like it. We wanted to be close to Wimbledon but with a cheaper rent! We have a baby and there are so many playgroups and nice families around. We enjoy going to the small local market and to the Tandem center where there are plenty of shops. I work in central London and it's very easy to commute with the northern line. This is an area that I find safe with nice parks. Not as pretty as Wimbledon but not as crowded either!
