Ting at the Shangri-La
On the 35th floor of the Shard, Ting delivers the astonishing views that you would expect. What I didn't expect was the incredible food that was pretty good value for money - £55 for four mouth-watering courses and the prettiest dessert I've ever seen!

"Frustrated at the council refusing him permission to build a house on some land that he owned on Mandela Way, property developer Russell Gray applied for permission to place a tank on the land. The council assumed it would be a water tank and granted permission. Russell instead parked a Russian T34 on there!"
There are some fantastic properties in Elephant & Castle like those in Strata SE1 that have amazing views!
