A great recently opened restaurant on Streatham Hill. Go here for something completely different to the other places in the area.

The owners who are friendly and love a chat and a joke. The bar sells great tapas and you can enjoy an old fashioned leisurely lunch in a bar that has the atmosphere of a bygone age - love it.

Excellent wine by the bottle or special wines can be tasted by the glass.

An amazing butchers in Streatham that is part of a small franchise of equally great stores.

Lovely place for a coffee in the morning before getting in to the office and amazing cooked breakfasts with thick milkshakes. It turns into a bar at night with an extensive cocktail menu and it's open until 2am!

A fantastic choice of Spanish food and drink all at great value!

One of only a few decent coffee shops on Streatham High Road. It's slightly pricier than its competitors, but for the quality of the food and coffee, it's justified.

The best decor I have ever seen in a bar. The Hamlet is almost like a Hidden Gem in Streatham. Beautiful food, cocktails and staff.

A great place for a swim! Because it's an open air pool, it's ideal in the summer.

Monmouth Coffee and shopping while you chat! It is a furniture store and boutique, as well as a cafe serving breakfast, lunch and sweet treats with friendly, cosy surroundings.

On a miserable English day, the best place to go to put a 'spring' in your step is Hildreth Street Market, where stall owners sell beautiful seasonal flowers.

The heartbeat of Balham's nightlife, this vibrant pub is open until 1am Friday and Saturday and also serves food from the bar and dining area.

Nestled in between Streatham Hill and Balham and right by the common, it is a quiet place but with so much on the doorstep.
